So I'm at the library and find an old Black's Law Dictionary for sale. It was from the 40's, and the inside cover was inscribed with the words 'Georgetown Law School', followed by a row of men's names, each one crossed out with pencil by his successor. 

No matter how important we may believe ourselves to be, eventually we will be crossed off of the Great List.
